Kimi ni Todoke

A Lovely romantic anime is what Kimi ni Todoke is. Kimi ni Todoke means let it reach you or may my love reach you or let my feelings reach you. The title itself exudes romance from it so no wonder the anime is romantic as well. A must watch anime.

For some reason I was lucky enough to watch some good animes these days. Kimi ni Todoke was in my watch list for a long time but due to lack of time I was skipping it. Finally I had enough time to watch this wonderful anime. The anime has two seasons and they can perfectly joined, which means there is a smooth flow when you starts watching season 2.

Kimi ni Todoke reminds me about Bokura ga Ita. Both anime shares much much in common, but still the presentation is different and the feel is new. The story is centered around the girl 'Sawako' who happens to have similarity to the ghost girl from the movie 'Ring'.

Rumors started spreading and she was stamped a ghost by her fellow mates. Being avoided by her friends from an early stage she had lost the sense to detect even a simplest lie, in fact she is as innocent as a newborn.

Kuronuma Sawako is the perfect heroine for a horror movie. With her jet-black hair, sinister smile and silent demeanor, she is often mistaken for the haunting movie character Sadako. But behind her scary facade is a very misunderstood teenager. Too shy to fit in, all she wants to do is make some friends. But when a popular boy in class befriends her, she is sure to make more than just that — she is about to make some enemies too!
