What made this anime pretty good is the nicely integrated human to animal behavior. Without that this anime would have been another pokemon series. Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou is some thing with a new concept where monsters and humans cohabit. Although there are animes with fox spirits and cat girls they are basically humans with animal ears and tails. They all had the distinct qualities of humans and their appearance were only for to show that they are youkai's.
When thinking about it human and monster behavior integration is difficult, but they pulled it off perfectly in monster musume, preserving the qualities of both humans as well as monsters. This anime is recommended for all those who love ecchi, harem and romance genera. I did say its a must watch anime for those who wants some change from the classical romance, ecchiness and harem animes.
The story begins with the world learning about the truth about monsters. Once which seemed mythical creatures are not mythical anymore. Due to the passing of the Cultural Exchange between Species Act these once fictional being have become a part of the society. Kurusu Himihito was dragged into being the host and was in-charged with the care of Miia a lamia (Human-Snake). She starts living with him trying to learn the human world. The law abides the breeding of between inter-species and undeniably Miia is sexy and gorgeous. Very soon, the group grows with the addition of Centaur girl, a ravishing horse and a flirtatious harpy. Not to mention they don't fall back second to Miia in any aspects.
